Abstracts

The accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book and handed out to all participants at the registration. No proceedings will be printed.

 

Badges

Each participant will receive a name badge upon registration. All participants are required to wear their badge during all the conference activities and social events.

 

Banks and post offices
Banks are usually open Monday-Friday 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 16:30. Post offices are usually open Monday-Friday 8:00-18:00.

 

Climate and dress
The weather in Bad Reichenhall at this time of the year is usually mild with temperatures between 10 and 20 Celsius, showers may occur. Informal dress is recommended.

 

Coffee
Coffees will be served during morning and afternoon breaks.

 

Credit cards
Major credit cards are accepted in hotels, restaurants and shops. It is advisable to carry an identity card or passport.

Electricity
Electrical current in Germany is 220 V/50 Hz. European-style two-pin plugs are used. Appliances designed to operate on 110/120 Volts need a voltage converter and a plug adapter.

 

Language
The official language of the Congress is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.

 

Lunch
Lunch is included in the Conference registration fee and will be served at the Konzertrotunde. Name badges entitle participants to receive lunch.

Internet
Internet access is available. During the EFMC8 conference WLAN access is free of charg. To gain access to the Internet, you must register at the WLAN desk which is located in the foyer in front of the lecture hall 1. The WLAN desk is open on Monday, 13th of september from 7:30 to 16:30 O'clock.
